I have been extremely busy this week. My engineering economy final project was due this week, so my team, being the procrastinators that we are, waited until pretty much the last minute to do most of the work. We got the project done, report, presentaion, and all. Now we wait to see what grade we […]
For the 2005-2006 academic year, I am on the College of Engineering Dean’s List! Unfortunately, I can’t find anything on the UAH COE website about the current Dean’s list to show everyone.
Requirements to be on the Dean’s list is to maintain a 3.5 GPA through 20 hours of coursework through the Spring and Fall […]
Where’s that thin razor-sharp line that I keep crossing? Oh, there it is, way behind me.
0 Comments Published April 11th, 2006 in PersonalMy attempts to be funny in my group of friends usually results in me crossing a thin line that I don’t see coming until I step over it and realize how much of a fool I have made myself into. Everyone else mostly knows how to play that line and say things that are […]
Last week was a trying week. Not only will I probably not get a co-op job for the summer, but my computer also decided it had enough. My primary hard drive, a Seagate 40 GB ATA-100, was in its final throws.
My windows installation, nine months old at this point, was acting really quirky. Firefox would […]
My laptop has served me well since I have had it. Although it is a hand-me-down from eBay with a Intel Celeron running at 600 MHz and 128 MB of RAM, it has ran Windows XP Professional fairly well. However, I have always wanted to try Linux without it interfering with Windows, so […]
Ah, back on campus. Ugh, not really feeling so well. I have had some stomach problems recently. I think those have been due to drinking water directly from a stream on my camping trip.
I am beginning to wonder whether I will get an offer for a co-op job interview for the summer. There aren’t a […]
After the first day in the wilderness, our group decided to cut the trip short. The rain began earlier that we expected, and as a result the safety of the trail was questioned. Moreover, especially in my case where I have never done anything like this before, we were tired and uncomfortable out on the trail in the cold and damp conditions.
For the largest part of my Spring Break, I will be going on a 50 mile hiking trip on the Pinhoti Trail in eastern Alabama in the Talladega National Forest from Saturday to Thursday. I am excited about this trip; I have never been camping or hiking before in my life. I will be going […]
My wireless contract with Cingular was to end in May, so I figured it was time to renew it. The phone I had before, an LG flip-phone, was a terrible phone for me. It would hardly ever recieve calls from other people, and when calling others it would take near forever for it […]
I think I am getting more and more addicted to MySpace.
More and more of my friends from high school are discovering the website and are registering for the very reason that I am more addicted to it. It also allows me to find new friends that I may have something in common with. […]
