BAE systems has announced their intentions to take over the old Warrior River Steel plant in Cordova, AL in order to build missile destroyers for the Navy. The site was chosen for it’s easy access to the Black Warrior River, through which the weapons will be shipped to Navy shipyards in Pascagoula, MS or Bath, ME.
