Microsoft contracts out work to build WMP Sidebar Gadget
Published by codyg1985 June 17th, 2006 in Technology, VistaAlthough this was for use during PDC 2005, a promising new gadget for Windows Media Player may be released for Windows Vista’s Sidebar application that would enhance or replace the mini version of Windows Media Player that runs in the taskbar.
The gadget would not only play songs from Windows Media Player, but would also include a mini-game of “Guess that Song.” The gadget would also have a minimized and maximized mode.
I wonder if this will ever see the light of day?
it looks awesome and i hope someone will do it! im surprised there are no comments about this yet. in fact im surprised at very poor gadget gallery available for vista users, there should have been like thousands of gadgets already but the truth is very grim. i guess noone is willing to do anything until the final release of vista.
