I am typing this post on my computer after setting up the wireless network with a new wireless-g router (IEEE 802.11g). This router was a sinch to set up, although I had to change some DSL modem settings so that my ISP would accept using a router to share the internet connection.

I am a lot happer now especially given what happened yesterday.
