Hiking trip starts Saturday

For the largest part of my Spring Break, I will be going on a 50 mile hiking trip on the Pinhoti Trail in eastern Alabama in the Talladega National Forest from Saturday to Thursday.  I am excited about this trip; I have never been camping or hiking before in my life.  I will be going with four other people, three of which are Eagle Scouts.  I think we are all set for this trip.  I dread when it is supposed to rain on Sunday and Monday, but I think the drenching will be well worth meeting the outdoors intimately.

I am also awaiting to hear from the UAH Co-Op office about people that are intererested in interviewing me for a co-op job starting in the summer.  I have submitted my materials to the office, and they have not told me that they need anything else from me.  So now its a waiting game to see whether or not the few places that will take Civil Engineering students are interested in my resume and cover letter.

Needless to say, I won’t have computer access between Friday afternoon and Thursday afternoon, so whatever happens I will be oblivious to.
