A man was showing off the OnStar system in his Cadillac to his girlfriend by activating the system so that the operator was called. The volume was too low for the operator to be heard, so the operator did not hear anything. If the operator does not hear anything, he/she is trained to call the nearest police agency.

The problem with that for the man is that the vehicle had cocaine in clear view for the police once they arrived. The man was charged with possession of an illegal substance within 1000 feet of a church.
