A friend of mine mentioned this to me the other day, and I was skeptical about this building at first, but it turns out that it does exist and is under construction. Burj Dubai will be the world’s tallest building when completed in 2008. Although its final height is a secret, it is believed to be 800 m, or half a mile tall.

The official site is currently down because the domain was not renewed.
