I have had several things that I have had to worry about this month…a big Design Project (which I scored 100 on), a very difficult Chemistry test, trying to figure out how to deal with renewing the nextl3vel.net domain, and paying a speeding ticket.

Today I drove down to Addison, AL to pay the speeding ticket of $122.50. Nice drive, and it gets me away from the university, which I always like to do, since I will be spending the next four years here. ;)

NL Domain Reregistering

I have still not been able to find out anything from my current registrar regarding the domain (I am speaking of the one that I registered it under, not the current one). It looks like I am going to try and reregister the domain with enom.com, and I really hope they take debit cards because I don’t have a credit card, and I have no need for one.

However, Chris and I have been talking about whether it would be worth reregistering the domain, considering how NL has been slowly decreasing in activity anyway (it sure has now hasn’t it?) Well, this new site called osreports.com has been created, and apparently most of the NL staff has migrated there for now. I am not sure what their thoughts of NL are right now, or if they want to come back. All I know is that some people are not qualified to run a website, so it will be difficult to decide whether it is worth it to renew the domain. I would more than love to, although I won’t be a part of either site regardless; I just don’t have the time. It hinges on two things: whether the registar will let me renew the domain with my debit card, and whether the site will have any kind of a staff resembling what was there prior to the domain expiring.
